The Icon Awards is the highlight of the WSA “Unplugged Music Experience Singer and Songwriter Retreat” that will be held October 31 - November 3, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. Eddie “F” Ferrell, a Grammy award winner, Uptown/LaFace executive, DJ, and Co-Founder of Heavy D & The Boyz, has worked with us for four years and will serve as a Co-chairperson for the conference. Larrance Dopson, CEO and Co-founder of 1500 or Nothin, and Devine Evans, five-time Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer, will also serve as Co-chairs this year. Some of our past honorees include Tricky Stewart, Shanti Das, Jan Smith, Crystal Nicole, Darrell Simmons, “Blac Elvis” Williams, “KP” Prather, Denise Brown, Gordon Chambers, Jamie Foster Brown, Manuel Seal, Troy Taylor and “PenTorious” D.J. Rogers, Jr.
The honorees for 2019 are: Tamara Drake, National Director of Urban Promotion for Captiol; Bob Robinson, Grammy-award winning Songwriter and Producer; David Mitchell, Founder and Publisher of Music Industry Quarterly; Thornell Jones, Strategic Marketing Innovator and Connector; and Eva Patterson, Founder of RAW Nation & Owner/CEO of Three Sixty Raw Magazine.
The Icon Awards event will cater to notable industry insiders such as you, media tastemakers and aspiring singers/songwriters.
The activities lined up for the evening include:

Icon Awards Ceremony (8pm-11pm).
